jAlbum Bridge 1.0 was released just 2 months before WordPress has decided to ditch their TinyMCE Editor and set Gutenberg (later named Block Editor) as default post editor. Unfortunately, no proper documentation was available that time, so my attempt in transforming the plugin Gutenberg-compatible has failed. More than a year has passed since and a week ago we have finally released the new plugin version for Block Editor with the invaluable help from Anders Callertun.
Read this blog post on jalbum.net to read more about the details. The most important thing is, naturally, the Block Editor compatibility, but we’ve also added a new transition type – zoom -, a few new sort options and fine tuned all the transitions to make them even smoother.
If you find it a great addition to your site, please help us improving the plugin’s currently ugly rating on the plugin’s page:
Thanks,
Laza
